Yoshiko’s Travels

I was absent from Chotto Chat last night. I helped my daughter and stayed the night at her house. I went back home early this morning and came here to Kyle

I have one of my friends-groups whom I know since my younger daughter was a kindergarten age.

We ,four people ,met at Kuzuha station at 12:30 ahd got keihan train to Kyoto.

First, we went to see a movie"The Constant Gardener". It was a disappointed one for me.

I expected a very beautiful African nature scene. But it was a kind of mysteries.

My friend, Chizuko Nishioka, had a one-man exhibition of watercolor painting at Syokado in Yawata city.

She has been learning the painting for about 30 years.Her works touched me deeply.

I met Mrs. Miki there and she enjoyed watching them ,too.

I got two chickets two months ago. At last it was the day today.

My sister and I went to a dance concert "Burn the floor" at Festival Hall in Osaka.

I can't dance but I like to see a dance show. This show was very passionate. The live concerts or shows make me so happy.

I went to see Hundert Wasser exhibition at Kyoto Modern Art Museum .On the day before ,I saw Antonio Gaudi's fantastic unique structures on TV. It reminded me that I visited Spain several years ago.

I was impressed at Wasser's art as modern Gaudi.

His art were so colorful and they had many dream. Someday I should go to see his structures in Vienna.

My daughter's family and I went to Iwashimizu -hatiman shrine to see lots of lanterns in the evening.

It's event helps the shrine's restoration and it has started 8 years ago.

Candles in the bamboo-containers made me so fantastic mood.

Several huge Koinoboris displayed around candles. My granddaughter ,Nana, was enjoyed and she sang Koinobori's song loudly.

My older daughter who lives in Tokyo sent me an e-mail about a traveling to Peru.

She has fixed two plane tickets of June 29. I'm happy to be able to travel to Peru.

So, let's study Spanish again. I hope I could speak daily Spanish.

Kinki area had a strong sandy wind called Kousa.

It was light yellow sky all day long.

Cherry blossoms will be fallen in this wind. Most of Japanese love this flowers, me too. I love a shower of cherry blossoms.The pink carpet of them is so beautiful.

The big tornado had hit in southern U.S.A. on Apr.7 .The TV news said there were over 16 tornados in this season.

When my granddaughter and her father was playing in the house , a small accident happened. His hands had slipped her legs and she had a wen.
They went to Yawata Hospital taking a medical check. The result was no problem. My granddaughter,Nana ,is a very energetic girl.So,we,adults have to be careful.

It was rather warm today. My daughter and her husband had contracted to build a house in Hirakata city,so they are busy for various reasons.

Today I took care of two grandchildren for 4 hours because of a such reason.

My grandson,Taiki had four upper teeth and he's always biting toys, books, and also my hands.Whenever he listens to music, he shakes his head and hip. It's so cute!
