Yoshiko’s Travels

I went to see Hundert Wasser exhibition at Kyoto Modern Art Museum .On the day before ,I saw Antonio Gaudi's fantastic unique structures on TV. It reminded me that I visited Spain several years ago.

I was impressed at Wasser's art as modern Gaudi.

His art were so colorful and they had many dream. Someday I should go to see his structures in Vienna.

My daughter's family and I went to Iwashimizu -hatiman shrine to see lots of lanterns in the evening.

It's event helps the shrine's restoration and it has started 8 years ago.

Candles in the bamboo-containers made me so fantastic mood.

Several huge Koinoboris displayed around candles. My granddaughter ,Nana, was enjoyed and she sang Koinobori's song loudly.

Kinki area had a strong sandy wind called Kousa.

It was light yellow sky all day long.

Cherry blossoms will be fallen in this wind. Most of Japanese love this flowers, me too. I love a shower of cherry blossoms.The pink carpet of them is so beautiful.

The big tornado had hit in southern U.S.A. on Apr.7 .The TV news said there were over 16 tornados in this season.

When my granddaughter and her father was playing in the house , a small accident happened. His hands had slipped her legs and she had a wen.
They went to Yawata Hospital taking a medical check. The result was no problem. My granddaughter,Nana ,is a very energetic girl.So,we,adults have to be careful.

I was surprised to get a postcard that one of my friends lives together with an European man at Brisbane in Australia.
She has been there two or three times for studing English ,and then she met a wonderful person . She will come back this April, so, I must ask what happened to her.

My daughter's family ,my husband and I went to visit my mother's grave to Chiouin temple in Kyoto.
Afterwaeds, we had lunch at Maruyama park. I made lunch for 6 people in early morning. My two grandchildren were excited eating and playing in the park. Unfortunately , it was not time seeing cherry blossoms.

My sister and I went to Portpia Hotel in Kobe for the bazar. After lunch we went to Maiko taking chiropractic. This was the first experience for me.
My bones of the neck is a little bend,so sometimes my left Achilles tendom,the doctor said. He checked an X-ray photograph first and treated me. My husband recommended him.

It was so cold that occasionally snowed. It is said"Kan-no modori"coming back cold day.

A fire insurance company staff came to make an estimate my house insurance , because first fire insurance is 30-year contract. The day will be coming on Mar.15.

I went to listen to Morzart's opera "Die Zauberflote" which was the graduation performance of Soai Clloege music dean at Cosmotown in Osaka with my friend.

Listening this opera was the first opportunity for me. I know the title , but I didn't know it's story. Today i had a good experience.

A classmate in my highschool who was runs a pension at Kasumicho in Hyougo prefecture died on Feb.20 .

Her farewell ceremony was held at Osaka center Gospel church in Osaka from 1:pm . The church was full, about 200 people and my 10 classmates attended there. . I had a heavy feeling in my chest losing a good friend.

On the way, some friends and I went to see No.37 Nitten(Japan art exhibition) at Osaka-city museum in Tennouji. I saw Judy Oung's picture ,too. She got a gold prize.
