Yoshiko’s Travels

In Japan , most homes with girls display Hina dolls ,then they celebrate the Girl’s Day. 

My Hina dolls are very old ones which were bought for my elder sister’s first Girl’s Day . At that time , my family lived in China and my grandmother sent them from Japan. Most of the dolls came back to Japan with us.

When I had the first daughter ,my mother gave the dolls to my daughter.  Now they are very memorable ones which are 70 years old.

My husband and I suffered from diarrhea and vomiting of epidemic virus from Dec.24 to 30 ,2006.  So we couldn’t see my daughter’s family and couldn’t eat the Christmas,New Year food.  I lost my weight 3Kgs,but I had many wrinkles. This is a bad things.

We quickly went to the hospital ,so our disease  were not so bad.  Anyway , we didn’t eat  and we took some liquid only.

My 2007 started from Jan.5 praying at the Iwashimiju Hachiman shrine.

A 16-year-old boy had been missing since a house fire killed his mother and two siblings was arrested Thursday on suspicion of arson and murder.(from The Daily Yomiuri)

I would like to write this news, but I found a model sentence on the paper. I had a mental agony recent such news.

I had an echo and CT scan examination again at Otokoyama Hospital.

I suppose that the doctors don't tell patient's disease conditions directly.

I only went there for my twice gallstone pain.

Anyway ,to take some examinations once a year is not so bad. Because I am not young.

In the morning , I had a MRI examination of a gallstone at Otokoyama Hospital.

In the afternoon , I went to see Mare Chagall exhibition at Suntory Museum in Osaka with my sister and my friend.

He is one of my favorite modern artists .

The 27 oil and water-color paintings and 100 prints were displayed and they comforted me.

This Museum was spacious and not crowded,so I thought that it was good idea coming here on weekday.

My husband went to Tokyo early this morning, so I also went to Kyoto to see movies.

I saw " The Da Vinci Code" in the morning and saw "The New World" in the afternoon at another theater.

I did hashigo movies that means people continue the same things at the different plase. Oh, I spent about 5 hours at the theaters.

I've read "The Da Vinci Code", so the movie was very interesting.

My English class, Chotto Chat , had a Karaoke-party at my town because of Kyle has gone to Greece.

I've never gone to Karaoke since this class had the party two years ago.

Everytime I take care of my grandchildren , I sing nursery songs with them, so I could sing smoothly adult songs.

We sang many English songs and we had a nice party tonight.

I have one of my friends-groups whom I know since my younger daughter was a kindergarten age.

We ,four people ,met at Kuzuha station at 12:30 ahd got keihan train to Kyoto.

First, we went to see a movie"The Constant Gardener". It was a disappointed one for me.

I expected a very beautiful African nature scene. But it was a kind of mysteries.

My friend, Chizuko Nishioka, had a one-man exhibition of watercolor painting at Syokado in Yawata city.

She has been learning the painting for about 30 years.Her works touched me deeply.

I met Mrs. Miki there and she enjoyed watching them ,too.

I got two chickets two months ago. At last it was the day today.

My sister and I went to a dance concert "Burn the floor" at Festival Hall in Osaka.

I can't dance but I like to see a dance show. This show was very passionate. The live concerts or shows make me so happy.
